Varied practice with nine bed local hospital and attached nursing home. It is a fully computerized practice using Medical Director and Pracsoft. Excellent management, nursing and receptionist support.

 

Focus is on comprehensive medical care and preventative medicine. Visiting allied health professionals. Good visiting specialist support in neighbouring town of Murray Bridge 23 kilometres away. There will be on call requirement of 1 in 2. Payment for ‘On Call’ is made by the State Government under the Rural Enhancement Program.

 

Tailem Bend has a population of about 1500 people with a catchment area of a further 2000. The town is located on the River Murray and is one hour drive from Adelaide on the main Adelaide to Melbourne thoroughfare. Excellent school facilities and opportunities exist locally for water sports, golf, tennis, football, cricket and bowls.
